I have never of one of the songs!! I probly listen to a song not sure who was sing it.

the stars album came out in 2004, and so did M83.
i was trying to predict what your number 1 would be, ben lee doesn't suprise me, though it wouldn't have suprised me a bit if you had put Let Me Carry Your Books in the top spot.

anonymous - go on itunes and buy all those albums!

herman: m83 came out 2005 according to itunes on their store and according to amazon.com the stars album came out march 2005...check your resources because this might be your first indie rock blunder

2005 is when they may have been licenced to itunes, but the actual albums were first released to stores in late 2004. i have both cds, and on the back they list 2004 as their release date.

you were right on the Stars album but M83 you're wrong!

I checked multiple sources

M83 - Before the Dawn Heals Us was released in January 2005

the M83 album recieved its north american distribution in 2005, but it was initially released overseas in 2004 on the french label Gooom Disques. Mute Corporations, a division of EMI, made it available in the US in early 2005. so its all down to semantics, i just chose to leave it off my list to avoid this kind of technical squabbling. in any case, its a damn good record.

You guys are indie music snobs... :)
